Sound knowledge and understanding of Equal Opportunity, Quality Risk Management, Access and Equity, Occupational Safety and Health principles and their application in a training context were pre-requisites for such a role in order to liaise with key management personnel to provide expert opinion and/or support on training and education matters.
In both roles, Shane’s primary responsibility was to ensure that registered training organisations provided quality training and assessment across all operations, that they adhered to principles of access and equity and maximised outcomes for all clients and that management systems were responsive to the needs of clients, staff and stakeholders.
Excellent time management skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and cooperatively with others at all levels and in a range of contexts, together with the capacity to provide leadership and manage change in educational or other organisational settings makes Shane so successful in industry and in demand as an advisory consultant.
